Our amazing team of qualified adventure guides will, with their humor and expert instruction, ensure that you’re in the right frame of mind for your step backward over the edge of Table Mountain at a height of 1000-meters above sea level. No previous abseil experience is necessary and children over 10-years are frequent clients, often being the ones reassuring their parents! This is a grand adventure that you don’t even have to leave Cape Town for. You can take the cable car up or, for the fit and enthusiastic, hike up the mountain with us on a 750-meter ascent of zig-zags called the Platteklip Gorge trail. Your controlled descent down a rock face on the western edge of Table Mountain will afford you the most magnificent views of the city of Cape Town. You’ll be able to see the west coast of Africa snaking off in the distance, Lions Head, and signal hill and you’ll be hanging directly over the plush seaside suburb of Camps Bay! Once your legs, still shaky with adrenalin, touch base on the landing ledge you’ll have time to walk them out with a short, but very beautiful and dramatic, hike back up to the top.
