Upon leaving the hotel with your Tour Guide in a private vehicle, you will take a road trip to the city of Campos do Jordão, located approximately two and a half hours from the city of São Paulo. Along the way, you will visit the valley of Paraíba, passing through important cities like São José dos Campos, home to the Embraer company, one of the largest commercial airliner plane manufacturers in the world. You’ll enjoy the impressive landscape while driving up the Mantiqueira ridge on the way to Campos. The Mantiqueira Ridge is one of the highest mountain ranges in Brazil, making the scene along the way breathtaking. Upon arrival in Campos do Jordão, you’ll immediately feel the European influence due to the architecture of the city and the local climate, common among cities located at high altitudes. Known as Brazilian Switzerland, Campos is one of the most famous tourist destinations during the Brazilian winter. It attracts thousands of visitors due to its climate, good food, and its popular Classical Music Festival which takes place during the months of July and August. During the trip, you’ll get to visit attractions such as Morro do Elefante, a place accessible through a cable car (admission not included), where visitors get a view of the valley in which the city is located.
