COMPLETE EGYPT WITH RED SEA– HURGHADA
Description
Hurghada is a beach resort town stretching some 40km along Egypt’s Red Sea coast. It’s renowned for scuba diving, and has numerous dive shops and schools in its modern Sekalla district. There are many restaurants, bars and nightclubs, while the old town, El Dahar, is home to traditional Egyptian coffee shops and souks. Hurghada’s long stretch of sandy beach is lined with resort hotels, Valley of the Kings where the tombs of the kings of the new empire are located, when Thebes was the capital of Egypt and we will visit the funerary temple of Hatchepsut. In the enclosure we can admire the chapels dedicated to Amenardis I, Shepenupet II and Nitocris I. Next, we find the Colossi of Memnon, two seated colossi of Pharaoh Ramses II of which only fragments of the base and 17-meter torso remain. Tall. At the end of the visit, transfer by air-conditioned car to Hurghada and accommodation. Rest of the day free to enjoy the beauty of the Red Sea beach and the facilities of your hotel or to make an optional visit. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Hurghada, cultural tour of the city to visit the Citadel of Saladin, declared as the World Heritage Site and which has the Mohamed Ali Mosque or "The Alabaster Mosque" and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities where we can see the treasures of Tutankhamun. We will continue our visits today knowing the Coptic neighborhood and the Church of San Sergio, place where the Holy Family took refuge. We will take a break for lunch in a local restaurant and have some free time to do some shopping in the famous Khan El Khalili market.
